Asia

If Africa is the cradle of civilization, then Asia must be considered the birthplace of the agricultural products that would eventually feed the world. It is believed that systematic agriculture was born during the 10th millennium BC in Southwest Asia. During that time, people in Syria and Iraq domesticated the eight so-called “founder crops” (flax, three cereal grains, and four pulses, including lentils and chickpeas). Among the world’s first domesticated crops, these advancements formed the foundation of systematic agriculture that was adopted throughout Asia, North Africa, and eventually, Europe. Rice cultivation began in Asia’s Far East as early as 10,000 BC. Today, rice provides about one-fifth of all calories consumed by humans, with most of the world’s supply still grown in Asia.

It was weaker on the cardomom taste then what i wanted and i added 4 times the cardomom. It was also very crumbly but that could be due to my extra cardomom added in.

on a personal basis i would only give this a 1 star. i didnt like it. I guess it just wasnt like what we used to get back home. But my husband loved it and asked me to try and make it again with a little bit of spicy kick next time. any food he will eat is a pleasure for me though.. so 4 stars it is!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed on Dec. 4, 2008 by JOSEPHINE
VERY GOOD POTATOES!!! I added some cream cheese because it seemed dry. Also, I got frustrated because the potato skins kept falling apart so I just made a 13 X 9 potato casserole.
