Cranberry-Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
so good! I forgot the orange zest but they're still completely yummy - I'm eating them right off the cookie sheet right now! keep in mind though that (unless I did something wrong) these don't spread out at all so it's best to roll them out smooth and squish a little rather than just dropping them off the spoon. they're just prettier that way!

Homemade Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
The recipe itself is great, but like others have said, there is no way that this recipe makes enough for two pies.

Pork Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
I put a twist on this, recipe. I used Ken's Lite Italian dressing.Marinated for 30 mins. Mean ~while, I cut up carrots, yellow & white potatoes & celery. Put in a roasting pan.Drizzled Olive oil over the vegetables. Then baked at 375 degrees in the oven. After 1 hour, turn the meat over then bake for a half hour more. Took cover off for the last 5 min. to brown the meat more. Tender & juicy. My husband loved it.

Spicy Beef Curry Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
I added sweet potatoes, parsnips and carrots to it. I also added extra curry, a touch of ginger and garam marsala because I love the spices. I cooked it in a deep frypan on simmer. I also coated the meat in flour and it came out perfect and amazing.

Black Thai Pork

Very easy and very good. I added some extra water to the sauce because it was so thick...otherwise didn't change a thing. My hubby loved it!

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
I grilled 4 chicken breasts dusted liberally with a salt free lemon pepper. After cutting them 1/4" slice I mixed them into the pasta with the zest of one lemon and a 1/2 pint heavy cream. The flavor was delicious, but the sauce could have been a tad thicker.

Made these last night - Awesome!!! Only added a bit more salt based on previous comments and put them in my muffin tins. Great rolls especially when the bread machine does most of the work. Weekly baking on my menu now!
