The amounts must be wrong. I can't imagine how you can get 2 tsp of milk and 1 confectioners sugar to come out smooth. I gave it 2 stars because in the end (after the alterations which really makes it a different recipe) it came out okay and I liked the flavor.

It came out alright. I think the Chicken Broth made it too watery, as I traditionally like thicker broccoli cheese. Nothing to write home about, but still a great base soup if you're bored and looking for something to warm you up in the winter. (PS - I used way too much Garlic Powder, be careful it can ruin the recipe.)

Excellent recipe. I followed it exactly and came up with a great result. The resulting cake was a bit less stable than I'm used to (when I turned it out of the pan, some of the edge crumbled off), but as it was my first cake from scratch I don't know whether that was because cake mixes are generally more stable, or through human error. :) Still, excellent result, time consuming but not challenging, and I'll be making this again.

Awesome!!!! My brother in law deemed this the best vegetable beef soup yet! I did add a can of tomato paste and I had used some steaks that we had thawed and didn't have time to make so I cooked them on the forman. So yummy!

We really enjoyed this! I did make a lighter sauce by using 1% milk since I didn't have any cream and it was still wonderful. Hubby doesn't get too excited about dinner but did ask for this to be made again. Thanks!

I made this for a play date and it went over awesome! It was easy to throw together in the afternoon and I had mom's asking for the recipe! I'm making it again tonight for Book Club, great recipe!

WOW! I made this to go with our Thanksgiving dinner and it was fantastic! Everyone loved it. I baked it (almost) exactly as directed and used a flat glass casserole dish. The consistency was perfect and it turned out creamy, yet firm and lightly sweet. The one difference I made was to use frozen corn instead of the canned corn. I did use the canned creamed corn though. Anyway, this is now one of our all-time favorite recipes. Thanks!

I just made these and they came out very good! I think I didn't make them thin enough when I spread the batter out, but they still tasted delicious, definitely going to be trying them again :)
