Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed on Dec. 3, 2008 by Muncher
I'm giving this 5 stars because I have been looking for a fried chicken recipe with LOTS of crispy crunch to it and this recipe is IT! I've done the plain flour breading and while that can be really tasty it has never had the "skin" crunch to it like this. But in regards to taste I would have to give it a 3 though. Make sure that when you make your flour mixture to add lots of spices. Maybe double up or marinate the chicken the night before. Other than that this recipe is delicious.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed on Nov. 20, 2008 by Muncher
A deliciously simple recipe. I like the "throw a bunch of things together and bake" dishes. I was a bit apprehensive about the cottage cheese and sour cream because I am a bechamel cheese sauce kinda gal, but I thought "5 stars and 500-ish reviewers can't be wrong." The only thing that I did differently was I added half an onion finely chopped. I like a oniony tang to my m&c, but that's just personal preference. Whenever I'm not feel up to making a roux, this is the recipe that I will use.

Pesto Cream Sauce

Reviewed on Nov. 4, 2008 by Lynn S.
Absolutely amazing!! I didn't have any trouble getting the sauce to come together and be creamy and I didn't have Romano cheese so I followed another reviewer and used grated Parmesan - delicious! I also had chicken instead of shrimp - this is something I'll be making ALL the time now, I couldn't believe out good it came out!
