Easy Cheese and Ham Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
Very good but instead of cream i used buttermilk. Turned out runny but a little cornstarch cured that problem.

Strawberry Cheesecake Martini

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
I don't think it's the worst, but not very good. I'm sorry, but I have to agree that it has a bit of a cough syrup taste.

Whole Grain Waffles

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
These are so wonderful! I have been making them for a few months now and my family loves them. When I don't have flax seed on hand I use oatmeal, or I split it half and half. Also I like to double the recipe and freeze some for mornings we have to get out of the house fast. Healthier than a toaster pastry!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
It was good, but nothing to go gaga over. I don't have a breadmaker so I followed the suggestions given to make it without. This was also my first experience using yeast. Everything went well and they baked up beautifully. I also inverted the pan shortly after coming out of the oven. I didn't use the icing recipe given. I just made a confectioner sugar glaze and drizzled it over the top. I'm glad I did. The rolls were sweet enough on their own without the icing suggested. I will keep this recipe and probably make it occasionally, but I will also keep looking for that WOW recipe.

Quick and Easy Grilled Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
My family says that potatoes are "boring". After I made this recipe, they ask for them at least twice a week! These are FANTASTIC!! I have found that if you do use a large potato, you need to increase the microwave time accordingly. The Kosher salt sprinkled on the outside gives just the right kick, and it was the first time my kids ate the potato skins too. GREAT RECIPE!!

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
My family eats chicken 3-4 times a week. This is undoubtably our favorite recipe! Beautiful color, so juicy, and tender enough to cut with a fork!! I let it marinade while we were at work, and then grilled it. It was DELICIOUS! I even made it with regular Soy sauce, and it was just a tiny bit salty. Since I like salty, it was PERFECT. Great recipe, we will make this over and over!!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
This was soooo good, my 5yr old daughter couldn't keep her fingers out of the extra sauce we kept to the side for basting. My husband says he's sick of chicken and doesn't want to eat it for a couple of months, and even he had to admit how good this recipe is!!! I can't wait to try it with pork kabobs.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
When I tried crepes before, I made a huge mess and burnt them all. This recipe was very simple and, I agree, the extra vanilla was heavenly. The only problem I had was when I poured the batter into the pan, it was to thick to move around. So, I added some extra milk (about 1/2 cup). That really allowed it to spread in the pan better. And, though it probably didn't need it, I also added about a teaspoon extra of vanilla. I would definitely recommend this recipe, and trust me, you won't be sorry when your kitchen smells like waffle cones!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Omg........these are even better than those at our local cinnabon and so much cheaper! At least you know when you make them that you are getting hot and fresh rolls.

Puppy Chow

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
I don't know how you can really go wrong with a recipe like this. Puppy Chow is one of my favorite snacks and I think this recipe is great. The only thing was that there was not near enough powdered sugar for the mix, and it got to be a mess when I had to keep opening the bag and pouring more in. But, if you just make sure you have extra powdered sugar, I think it will be just fine. Thank you for the recipe!

Bon Bons

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
These bon bons were good, but like some other people thought, they tasted a little too sweet. They did make a huge batch (like other people said) and we didn't use it all. Also, I had a lot of trouble trying to dip the dough into the chocolate. I was trying to use a toothpick/spoon/knife and finally gave up and stuck my hands into the chocolate. It became really messy. They didn't really look too nice in the end. Plus, after sitting on the counter for a few minutes they started to soften. I had to keep putting them into the fridge. Thank you, anyway.

Heavenly Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
This recipe was awesome! I made this last week for a chocolate party with some friends and everybody loved it. All in all, it really wasn't that hard to make. Unfortunately, I kept cooking the egg before it ever got to 160 degrees. I didn't realize you have to stir the egg almost constantly. But, true to the saying, I got it right on the third try. Despite the mistakes I made, it still turned out really well, so thank you!
