Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
Holy Cow! This was fantastic! Added fresh green beans, and used chicken broth in place of water/granules. Will definitely be making this one again. Perfect on a cold winter day!

Chocolate Covered Peppermint Patties

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
These were really good! My husband said "it was the best peppermint patty he's ever had!" I took a few dozen to work (my guinnea pigs!)and I had several "MMMM's". I thought my arm was going to fall off from mixing though! Thanks for the recipe.

Didn't change this recipe a bit, and it was a Thanksgiving hit! My executive chef uncle had to know the recipe.

We loved this recipe - quick, easy, yummy, and with a little bit of Sriracha sauce, fantastic!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Velveeta! I read a few reviews that spoke of the oils of the cheddar making the recipe greasy, so I used velveeta in it's place. As for other things I did, I heeded previous reviewers and used frozen whole green beans (thawed a bit with warm water), added fried onions (my favorite: 1/2 in the mix and the other 1/2 on top), and added fresh crumbled bacon in the mix and on the top. Loved this recipe, and so did everyone else. With a mixed family Thanksgiving, I heard the most raving about this green bean casserole than anything else.

New Orleans Pecan Pie

Not good, never really set up and was runny. Sounded good but it just didn't live up to the hope.

Pumpkin Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
I liked this more than traditional pumpkin pie. You just cannot go wrong when you add cream cheese! I used a graham cracker crust and topped it with whipped cream. It was very good and everyone seemed to like the variation.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
I've been making this recipe for about 3 months. My family loves it!!! I use the "Best Marinara Sauce Yet" from this web site and ricotta cheese, instead of the jar sauce and provolone. So Good!!! Thanks for sharing.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This was my first time to make a real marinara sauce. It's perfect for my spaghetti, Ziti and pizza dishes. I triple the recipe and freeze the rest. Also, I make it the day before and let it set over night in the refrigerator. So easy to make!!! Thanks for sharing.

I followed the recipe just as printed. It is fantastic. I used corn tortillas, instead of the flour. You can't miss with this dish. Thank you for sharing.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
I used this reciped yesterday on a 20# turkey. I covered the turkey with foil for the first half of the cook time, then uncovered and got that gorgeous golden brown skin with the herbs all over it. The turkey was moist and flavorful. Lots of compliments. The house smelled wonderful. I will definately use this again and use it on a roasting hen (chicken) with perforated lemons in the cavity. This is a new favorite for poultry. Thanks for sharing.
