Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This is the BEST!!!!!!! I am not a pot pie eater, but had tons of turkey left over from Thanksgiving and the rest of my family likes the pot pies so I looked up this recipe and HAD to try it. OMG, WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I used a bag of mixed veggies and like i said it was the best.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This was really good the only thing I do not understand is WHY my new crock pot is not making my meat tender? I bought a bigger crock pot and for some reason the 2 times I have used it, my meat is VERY tough. Maybe it is the meat I am using. First time I used pork butt and the 2nd time I used rump roast... I have NEVER used these 2 types of meat and both times I have used my new crock pot. If anyone has suggestions please help! The flavor of this was excellent, I just wish my meat was tender.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This chili is the best! It was my first time making chili and it didn't last in my house. The only thing I changed was I didn't use tomato juice so I used a can of diced tomatoes and a can of rotel, couldn't find a 29 oz can of tomato sauce and saw puree and bought that and it was wonderful.Thank you so much for sharing George.

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I know I would rate this a 5 if I had spent more time kneading the dough or had a bread machine. I am going to buy and bread machine and re rate this after that.

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I can't give this 5 stars because all I did was use a commercial brand bbq sauce to coat the ribs and baste with. But I did use the oven temp and the cooking time! I started out with the ribs covered, but after 30 mins when I went to baste them, they were so goopy I left the foil off the rest of the time. They were fork-tender and a hit with the family. Thanks for the basic recipe!

Baked Tomatoes Oregano

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I just made this for dinner and it was soooo good that as soon as I was done doing the dishes, I rushed to my laptop to rate it 5 stars. Since I was making it for myself, I used two tomatoes on the vine and lined them in a small baking dish. I sprinkled kosher salt right on top of the tomatoes, and then added the garlic and parsley. After that, I combined 1/4 cup of Progresso's Italian Style bread crumbs and 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano together and used half of the mixture first. I substituted feta cheese instead of the romano and then finished the dish with the last half of the bread crumb mixture. Sprinkled a little more feta cheese, cracked fresh black pepper and drizzled the olive oil. Put it in the oven at 350 for 10 mins. It was perfect! I plan on making this again for lunch tomorrow... Thanks for such a great recipe!

this is a good starter recipe but the topping didn't bake like a proper "pie". next time I will try biscuit dough instead.
