Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
These are excellent! I couldn't stop eating them. They were supposed to be for my Christmas cookie trays, but...needless to say, not very many made it to the trays.

Ravioli Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I loved this! The only thing I didn't put in it was peas because I didn't have any. I did add 2 serrano chilis and to cool it down, a can of creamed corn. It tasted very fresh and was very healthy.

Jesse and Steve's Fresh Strawberry Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
It's pretty good. I prefer the strawberries pureed instead of mashed though so there's no wet chunks in the cake. Like some other reviewers said, it's a nice cake for at home, but not a show-stopper. Will probably make again sometime, thanks for the recipe!

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
Rating the filling only. After reading other reviews I decided to use my trusty crushed oreo crust. Made it into mini cheesecakes in my silicone mini muffin pans and they turned out perfectly! Love this recipe!

Broccoli Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
After putting this recipe together, it seemed a bit too runny and a tad bland, so before cooking it I added the rest of the 32oz package of broccoli, a cup or more of shredded cheddar cheese, a bit more salt and some crushed garlic. Thank you so much, it's a good recipe and tweeking it to your own personal preference makes it fabulous!

Yum These definately fixed the pumpkin craving! Would add a touch more spice to the cookies next time (pumpkin pie spice maybe) but will definately make again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Nutty Seasoned Popcorn

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
I'm pretty neutral on this recipe. The herbs lend a VERY subtle, refreshing herbiness, but I'm not sure it goes really well with the popcorn and nuts. I also didn't like how the dried herbs stay in your mouth after the popcorn is gone. I enjoyed this as something different, but probably won't bother next time.

Apple Brine for Turkey the Night Before Cooking

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
Well after reading Godiva Goddess's review and finding out that it is not supposed to be apple-y, I have to change my rating and give it a 5. After all, my hubby did say it was the best turkey he's ever had! The turkey turned out moist and delicious. Rinse the turkey before you roast it and careful with the seasonings, it doesn't need much more salt! Thanks for the great recipe Godiva!
