 I have been married of 13 years but only started cooking a great deal in the last 5. If you are being self taught then you need to be patient with failures. It was hard to follow a recipie and have it not turn out right and have no one to tell me why. I gave up for several years and then after some maturity and patience, I tried again. After a lot of watching the Food network channel and turning out many great meals I absolutely LOVE to be in the kitchen all day. Ny husband loves the way I cook too:)

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

I've made this several times now, but i adjust to what i have in the fridge which is turkey bacon and cream cheese. This simpler version is still very yummy!

They were good... but a little too sweet for our taste. I think next time i will try just "condensed milk" instead of "sweetend"

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

I love how easy this was. I also enjoyed the tip about cooking the broccoli in the boiling noodles. less dishes!
