Chocolate Oil Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
I made this cake today, for dessert tonight. It is FANTASTIC! so fluffy and light... and rich! it is very yummy, easy, and fast to make. I followed the directions completely, with the exception that I added a bit more salt. I paired it with whip cream, sliced strawberries, and blueberries. I highly reccommend this recipe.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
This was really good! Although, I put more strawberries and rhubarb than what it called for because I picked WAY too much rhubarb out of my garden and had to improvise! The topping was great too! It didn't stay in my refrigerator long!!!

Pork Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
We made this one night when all we had was odds and ends to put together and it turned out real well. Not spicy at all which was good when 7mths pregnant. I thought it had good flavor and I really like the combination of everything together. My husband wants to add more spice next time. yumyum!

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2004
I have been searching for a very long time to find a really good PB cookie recipe. I have tried many, many recipes. This is by far the best. The taste and texture are exactly what I have been searching for. I was making these one night, it was getting pretty late, and I fell asleep while they were cooling, before I could put them in an air-tight container. The next morning when I woke up I was really upset, because I thought I had ruined them by leaving them sitting out all night. To my great surprise and relief, they were not dried out at all. Still very moist and chewy. I will be using this recipe, hopefully, for many years to come. Thank you P.L. Weiss for submitting it.
