About me:
My mom is my cooking inspiration. Growing up, we would return from the pantry frustrated by the lack of junk food. "All we have are INGREDIENTS!" But in a flash, without exhausion, my mom would create a healthy snack or meal within minutes. She showed me that healthy cooking can be fun instead of a burden. She goes gourmet with quality ingredients or she goes shortcut with simple ingredients. Either way, its homemade and I love her cooking!!!

Slow-Cooked Corn Chowder

Reviewed on Nov. 17, 2008 by INDYSAY
If you rate this on ease and taste, it's definitely a 5. That being said, I took the liberty of making some changes that I feel helped the rating (if I had not done these things, I'm not sure I would have given it a 5): I used small baby red potatoes chopped up instead of hashbrowns, substituted ground turkey sausage instead of ham, and added lots of chopped carrots and celery. Oh my goodness, it was so tasty I have just finished my 3rd bowl today. :) Thanks for this recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed on Nov. 11, 2008 by JenT
This was a great recipe. I've been looking for something other than the same old variations of typical Toll house recipe and this was perfect! I can't wait to try it with other pudding mixes :) I think I'll try butterscotch next!

Corn and Black Bean Salad

Reviewed on Oct. 31, 2008 by OHCRIPE
Awesome. I added sliced grape tomatoes and some purple onion. But only did that for personal preference. Also, I made this for a crowd of 28 and it was a breeze to make with the nifty calculator. EVERYone loved it. Thanks!
