Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed on Nov. 10, 2008 by Jeremy's Personal Chef
This was excellent! I didn't add the onions because I was really wanting more of the garlic flavor. I was generous with the amount of garlic. :-) I didn't have enough regular oil so I used some olive oil too. I used this marinade on 3/4 inch t-bone steaks. I only had a few hours to let them marinade but they still turned out tender and flavorful! (My husband does a great job grilling!)

Cabbage Waldorf Salad

Reviewed on Oct. 15, 2008 by simplecook
This recipe is fantastic! I just made it for a party of 100 & many of my guests have requested the recipe. I was a little concerned about all that cabbage, so I made a regular size batch a week in advance... it disappeared in a day, when I asked my husband where the salad went, he grinned and said "what salad?" (and he hates cabbage)! I will make this often.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed on Sep. 30, 2008 by cookingteacher
We live in salmon country, and I've cooked it many ways . . .this is by far the one recipe my family requests over and over. Regardless of what others have said, I think a longer marinade (more like an hour if the salmon is thicker) in the fridge enhances the garlic flavor in the recipe. And as others have pointed out--every piece of salmon should be checked thoroughly--maybe less than 20 minutes, maybe more. Thanks for the recipe--it's a keeper!
